The main objective of this project is to make TGTDCL become a digitally enabled company. Ground-penetrating radar (GPR) has been used here to detect the underground gas network. After data compilation, a Web-GIS database has been created with precise information and geo-reference. And finally, detailed database-supported maps and a web-mapping dashboard has been generated. A short-term training course has also been designed for the concerned employees of TGTDCL regarding the format, use, and maintenance of the pipeline mapping system. The program and arrangement of the training sessions including the duration, date and time will be decided as per the suggestions and recommendations shared through discussion between PRC and TGTDCL Authority. As digital maps and Web-GIS Dashboard depicts proper and accurate data, referenced to its corresponding location in reality enabling, digitalization, in this aspect will help the concerned officials (TGTDCL) to efficiently monitor the pipelines and eliminate the corrupt practices of illegal connection ensuring energy insurance to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.
