BEZA authorized City Group to develop City Economic Zone on 77.96 acres of land in Rupshi, Narayanganj, in 2017. In 2019, CEZ’s master plan and detailed design were already developed. Later, in 2022, the earlier Master plan was updated, and Block-plots C’s (Plot Nos. 10, 11, and 12) were re-plotted and combined into a single plot (referred to as Plot no.10). For the Master plan to achieve the final approval of BEZA and be properly implemented, a technical justification for this re-plotting activity in compliance with the BEZA Economic Zone Development Code was essentially required. CEZL had appointed M/S PRC Enterprise to provide consultancy services for Re-Plotting of Plot number 10, 11 and 12 under the Revised Master Plan of City Economic Zone Ltd. which includes a Justification report regarding the re-plotting activity. The report had been submitted to BEZA for final approval.
